What is UX Design?
Many of our clients are new to the idea of user experience design, or UX design for short. UX design, as opposed to basic graphic design, is a business-minded design methodology that is both results-focused and end user-oriented.
The purpose of UX design is to ensure that your product meets the customers’s needs simply and elegantly, utilizing research insights to amplify conversions for your business.
UX design goes beyond aesthetics to think holistically about your bigger goals by employing methods like user research, content strategy and rapid prototyping to validate the success of a design.
Our Founder
Alexis Winslow is our founder and principal designer. After working as an Art Director at a corporate firm in NYC for a decade, she struck out on her own to form Twill Creative. She is an author, illustrator and UX designer with an impressive background designing for a large variety of clients—from small niche publications to entertainment giants like Disney, Nickelodeon and Netflix.
Alexis is a multidisciplinary rockstar comfortable working in diverse environments and project types. She is experienced with content strategy, identity design, digital interaction design, graphic design, layouts and physical design. She is highly creative and excited to tackle whatever you throw at her!
While Alexis is our principal designer, we also work with a fabulous network of developers, writers, and specialist to fulfill all of your creative and UX design needs.

Twill’s WordPress development partner is the dynamic brother duo known as JACKSTIN. Since 2003, JACKSTIN has done intricate coding, making the impossible possible. They create API’s extended from WordPress that integrate into stunning applications.
Jackson is the master strategist and business guru, up at the crack of dawn solving thorny problems. Justin is an experienced designer and coder extraordinaire, working into the late hours of the night, pushing the boundaries of WordPress and building beautiful websites for our amazing clients.
